Hollow scrambled to his feet, looking around for the voice in the white nothingness of the Void. “Narrator? Is that you? Where- Oh…” His circular, carved eyes glanced down at his feet as a tattered gloved hand tugged a little at his rainbow scarf. “….Right….I can’t see you…” “Of course you can’t.” the feminine voice replied, haughtily. “The files I received dictate that you would have some memory issues from the previous tournament, which is for the best for you and everyone else. However, I would have thought you’d have enough room in that empty pumpkin head of yours to remember enough of the Void so I don’t have to repeat answers on such trivial questions.” Hollow winced at the tone this new, unknown voice took. Both his hands were now playing with the scarf, flaying the ends a little. His chest tightened, like it did whenever he felt like a human was looking at him far too closely. Push the Button OCT 2 - Hollow Feathertop Audition
Standing in front of the large, dark stone chapel, Hollow was starting to wonder if coming here was actually a good idea. His yellow coloured eyes peered from under his hat and up at the carved figures that decorated the frame of large wooden, double doors. Some of the figures he recognized as the fey, with their insect like wings and willowy arms. They looked far more regal than the bee fairies that had screeched at him earlier in the day from their hive. He was just grateful that it started to rain before they could start biting him. In between the fey, Hollow could see more human figures, each holding some sort of farming tool or staff. With their weathered granite faces and lichen growing upon their clothing, they were nothing like the real humans he had ever seen. However, even though he knew he was in his human disguise, he couldn’t help but tug his green hat forward to hide his face from their stoney gazes. Trying to ignore the sense of being watched, Hollow glanced at his
